Bhubaneswar: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has won Clarivate India Research Excellence-Citation Awards 2021 for its research excellence in the Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Sciences category.
IIT-Delhi director, Prof V Ramgopal Rao received the award on behalf of the premier tech institute.
“Highly cited research publications that imply high impact research was an important criterion for the analysis, in addition to a series of other bibliometric indicators and a qualitative review of the research output. The analysis was based on publication output during 2015-2020.” IIT-Delhi tweeted.
“These awards tell the story of some remarkable research works that have happened at IIT Delhi. Our researchers are committed to support the nation’s ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ dream by developing new technologies to help the society and the country,” Prof V Ramgopal Rao was quoted as saying on Twitter.
However, IIT-Delhi and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, established a Centre for Advanced Research and Excellence in Disability and Assistive Technology.
