IIT JAM 2025 Admit Cards Released, Check The Details

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi has released the admit cards for the Joint Admission test for Masters (JAM) 2025.

The admit card is available on the official website at joaps.iitd.ac.in.

The IIT JAM 2025 exam will be conducted on February 2, 2025, in two sessions—examinations for chemistry, geology and mathematics will be held in the first forenoon session, while the same for biotechnology, economics, mathematical statistics and physics will be held in the afternoon session.

How to download IIT JAM admit card 2025

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT JAM, jam2025.iitd.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the IIT JAM 2025 admit card link

Step 3: Enter the required details such as enrollment ID and password

Step 4: The IIT JAM 2025 admit card will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download the admit card and take a printout for reference

Details to check on IIT JAM admit card 2025

Candidates have been advised to check their photograph, signature, paper code, name, and registration number on the admit card.

In case of any discrepancy, candidates need to report it to the authorities.

The IIT JAM 2025 will be conducted in computer-based test mode at various exam centres across the country.

The test will have objective-type questions asked in three different patterns —Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

There will be a negative marking of one-third marks for every wrong question attempted in section A featuring MCQs. However, for other sections, there’s no negative marking.

The IIT JAM scores are used for admission to 2802 seats of M.Sc. (two years), M.Sc.-Ph.D, Dual Degree, and other PG programmes at IITs and IISc, Bangalore.
