IIT Kharagpur Prof Admitted To Royal Society Of Chemistry
Kharagpur: Professor Pratim Kumar Chattaraj of the Department of Chemistry at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has been admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the institute informed on Saturday.
In a congratulatory tweet, IIT, Kharagpur said Prof. Chattaraj has been actively engaged in theoretical chemistry and computational chemistry research.
His research activities comprise density functional theory, ab-initio calculations, nonlinear dynamics, aromaticity in metal clusters, chemical reactivity, hydrogen storage and quantum trajectories.
