Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: 2,500 Vacancies On Offer, Check Details Here

New Delhi: Applications have been invited by the Indian Navy from unmarried male candidates for enrolment as sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) in the security forces.

The vacancies will be divided in a state-wise manner. The Indian Navy will invite around 10,000 candidates for the written examination and Physical Fitness Test (PFT). The cut-off marks for appearing in the written test may vary from state to state, the Indian Navy said via an official notification.

Aspirants can apply for Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2021 via the official website — www.joinindiannavy.gov.in — from October 16 to October 25.

Sailor: Artificer Apprentice (AA): 500 posts

Sailor: Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR): 2000 posts

Educational Qualification

Artificer Apprentice (AA): The candidate must be 12th passed with 60 per cent or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and have Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.

Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR): The candidate must be 12th passed with Maths & Physics and have Chemistry/Biology/ Computer Science.

Age Limit

Candidates must be born between Feb 1, 2002, and July 31, 2005 (both dates inclusive)

Pay Scale

A stipend of Rs 14,600 per month will be given during the initial training period. On successful completion of the training, recruited candidates will be placed in Level 3 of Defence Pay — Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.
