Indian Railways Allots 20 Pairs Of Special Trains For JEE, NEET Exams In Bihar

New Delhi: The Indian Railways has decided to run 20 pairs of special trains from September 2-15 for all the Bihar students appearing for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance exam.

Piyush Goyal, Railway Minister, took to Twitter and wrote, “Indian Railways has decided to run 20 pairs of MEMU / DEMU special trains from September 2 to 15 for the convenience of candidates joining JEE Mains, NEET and NDA in Bihar.”

While the NEET exam is going to be held on September 13, the NDA 2020 exam is scheduled on September 6.

The East Central Railway in a press release said the stations en route will have unreserved ticket counters and students can also book tickets on the UTS mobile ticketing app.

Piyush Goyal had already said that the students with one guardian each will be allowed to travel on the exam days.
