Information Brochure For JEE Advanced, AAT 2025 Released, Check The Details

The JEE Advanced 2025 examination will be held on May 18, while AAT 2025 is scheduled for June 5, 2025  

HYDERABAD: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, has released the information brochure for the Joint Entrance Examinations Advanced and Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025 on its official website.

The JEE Advanced 2025 examination will be held on May 18, 2025. The registration will begin on April 23, 2025 and continue until May 2, 2025.

The last day to pay the registration fee for JEE Advanced 2025 is May 5, 2025.

The provisional answer key will be released May 26, 2025 while the results and the final answer key will be declared on June 2, 2025.

The JEE Advanced admit cards will be released on May 11, 2025 and it will be available for download unil May 18, 2025.

The JEE Advanced 2025 and AAT 2025 will be conducted in a computer-based mode. Paper 1 will be conducted between 9 am and noon, while the Paper 2 will be held between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm. The dates of the examination will not be changed even if a public holiday is declared, the information brochure said.

Eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2025

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000. A relaxation of five years is available for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
  • Candidates should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025.
  • Candidates who have accepted admission at any IIT through the JoSAA in the past are not eligible.

Application fees

Indian nationals

  • Female Candidates (all categories): Rs 1,600
  • SC, ST, PwD Candidates: Rs 1,600
  • All Other Candidates: Rs 3,200

Foreign nationals

  • Candidates from SAARC countries: USD 200
  • Candidates from non-SAARC countries: USD 100

AAT 2025 schedule

The brochure includes the dates for the AAT 2025. The BArch programme is available at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee only.

Candidates who want to join the programme will have to pass the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Candidates who will qualify for JEE (Advanced) 2025 are eligible to appear for the AAT 2025.

Architecture Aptitude Test 2025 registration will start on June 2, 2025 and continue until June 3, 2025. The examination will be held between 9 am to noon on June 5, 2025 while the results will be declared on June 8, 2025.

No separate admit card will be issued for AAT, the admit card of JEE (Advanced) 2025 need to be produced in the AAT examination centres, along with the original photo identity card of the candidate.
