ISC Result 2021: All You Need To Know

New Delhi: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is set to announce ISC or Class XII results in July.

According to the Board’s submission in the Supreme Court in June, the ISC result 2021 will be released by July 20. Results of ICSE or Class X students are also expected to be announced by July-end. Both results can be checked on cisce.org.

An alternative assessment scheme will be followed for 2021 results after the board exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation in the country.

Going by the board’s assessment scheme, students’ marks in Class X board exams, project, practical work in various subjects, best marks obtained in school tests in Classes XI and XII, and best performance of the school itself in the last six years will be considered for preparing results.

“To arrive at the weights, detailed analyses were performed on the data from the past board examinations from the years 2015 to 2020,” the CISCE said.

In 2020, both Class X and XII results were announced on the same day, on the ‘CAREERS’ portal of the Council, Council’s main website, and through SMS.

The board had to cancel some papers for both the classes last year and had to adopt alternative assessment schemes. No merit list of students was published last year.

“Given the exceptional circumstances, this year CISCE will not be publishing a merit list for either the ICSE or ISC year 2020 Examinations,” CISCE Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon had earlier said.
