Bhubaneswar: ISRO Chairman K Sivan will visit the city on September 21, during which he will attend the 8th convocation ceremony of IIT Bhubaneswar.
Sivan is currently one of the most talked-about space scientists in the country and among the top 5 searched people in Google. He has been the face of ISRO’s Chandrayaan 2 Moon mission and has inspired a whole generation of younger talents to take up space science to conquer the unknown.
The ISRO Chairman will address the 8th convocation of IIT Bhubaneswar. He is expected to share a few thoughts about the mission and India’s upcoming space exploration programme.
The convocation will see the presentation of President of India Gold Medal, Director’s Gold Medals and Institute Silver Medals, the institute said in a statement.
