ISRO Invites Applications For Scientist and Engineer Posts

The recruitment drive is being held to fill 320 vacancies across electronics, mechanical, and computer science disciplines

NEW DELHI: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced recruitment for 320 vacancies for the post of scientist and engineer.

An official notification was released on ISRO’s website, isro.gov.in.

The last date for submission of online application forms is June 16.

The openings are in the fields of Electronics (113 posts), Mechanical (160 posts), and Computer Science Engineering (44 posts).

Three vacancies are available at the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedaba —two in Electronics and one in Computer Science.

Candidates will be selected through a written test, followed by an interview.

The selected applicants will be appointed to full-time Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts under Level 10 of the pay matrix.

The initial basic pay is Rs 56,100 per month, along with applicable allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance, said a notification.

Step 2: Candidates need to register themselves

Step 3: Fill in personal and academic details in the online form.

Step 4: Upload the scanned documents including photo, signature, and relevant certificates.

Step 5: Pay the application fee using online payment methods.

Step 6: Review and submit the form before the deadline.

Step 7:  Take a printout of the application form for reference.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must hold a BE/BTech degree in the relevant discipline with at least 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA out of 10.

The upper age limit is 28 years as on 16 June 2025.

Age relaxation applies for SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and government employees as per central rules.

Selected employees will be enrolled under the New Pension Scheme (NPS) or the Unified Pension Scheme, depending on their posting and existing norms.
