JEE Advanced 2021 Date To Be Announced Today

New Delhi: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will announce the date of the JEE Advanced 2021 and the eligibility criteria of admission for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on Thursday.

The minister will make the announcements during a live session on his official Twitter handle at 6 pm.

Notably, the Education Ministry had announced last year that the candidates who cleared the JEE Main 2020 exam but were unable to appear for the JEE Advanced 2020 exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be able to appear for the JEE Advanced 2021 examination directly, India Today reported.

Besides, the JEE Main will be conducted four times this year, as per the suggestions of many students and parents. The first attempt of the exam will be from February 23 to 26. The last date to register online is January 16.

Due to the pandemic, the paper pattern of JEE Main 2021 has also been changed to relieve some of the academic pressure on students. Candidates will now have a choice to attempts only 75 questions out of the 90 questions present in the paper.
