JEE Main 2022: NTA Likely To Reduce Attempts To Two This Year, Says Report

New Delhi: The students set to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) in 2022 will have only two attempts, instead of four like last year.

According to reports, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the engineering entrance exam in April and May. The NEET-UG, medical entrance, will be conducted in June or July.

It may be recalled that last year, JEE Main was conducted in four sessions — February, March, April and August-September. The NTA also changed the JEE Main exam pattern to accommodate students who have studied under different school boards.

The questions papers provided various choices to the students. The paper had 30 questions in each subject, divided into two sections. Section A comprised 20 questions and Section B 10 questions. Students were asked to answer any five of the 10 questions in Section B.
