JEE-Mains Likely To Be Held In July-August, NEET In September

New Delhi: The Ministry of Education is mulling conducting the pending engineering entrance exam JEE Mains in July and August and the medical entrance exam NEET may be held in September, sources told news agency PTI.

However, a final decision on the matter is yet to be made as the Ministry is in the process of reviewing the COVID-19 situation across states and UTs.

“The pending editions of JEE Mains are likely to be conducted either at the end of July or August with a fortnight’s gap between the two tests. NEET is likely to be pushed to September,” a source was quoted as saying by the news agency.

From this academic session, JEE-Mains will be held four times a year to provide flexibility to students and lend them a chance to improve their scores.
