Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Announces Warder Recruitment Drive 2025

RANCHI: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the much-awaited notification for Warder Recruitment 2025, opening doors to secure government jobs in the state’s prisons department.
With the application process set to commence on November 7, this recruitment drive promises a good opportunity for those eyeing a career in law enforcement. The candidates can register for the recruitment drive on the official website, jssc.jharkhand.gov.in.
The last date for submitting the applications and upload documents is December 10 midnight.
A correction window for application forms will remain open from December 11 to 13. The JSSC urges the applicants to complete the process early to avoid any technical glitches.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates who have passed class 10 examinations and aged between 18 and 25 years can apply. Age relaxations will be provided for reserved categories — two years for Extremely Backward Classes (male), three years for Unreserved and EWS (female), and five years for SC/ST candidates.
Physical standards
For Unreserved, EWS, and EBC males categories, the minimum required height is 160 cm with an 81 cm chest; SC/ST males need 155 cm height and a 79 cm chest. Women need at least 148 cm height. The Physical Efficiency Test mandates males to complete a 1,600-metre run in six minutes and females in 10 minutes.
Application fees
General category candidates need to pay an application fee of ₹100, the same for SC/ST categories is ₹50.

Selection process
