The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has invited applications for admission to class IX vacant seats in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas for 2020-21 session.
The vacant seats will be filled up through a nationwide admission test. The last date to apply is December 10, 2019.
How to apply?
Candidates need to visit the official website www.nvsadmissionclassnine.in or the website of the individual JNVs.
The selection test for admission will be conducted on February 8 in the JNV of the concerned district or any other centre allotted by the NVS.

Eligibility:
Only those candidates who are studying Class VIII during the academic session 2019-20 in one of the government or government recognised schools of the district where the JNV is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible.
Candidate appearing for the admission test must pass Class VIII in the academic session 2019-20 from a government or government recognised school in the district where he/she is seeking admission.
The candidate must be born between 01 05 2004 and 30 04 2008 (both days inclusive). This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe.
Composition of the entrance test:
The selection test will consist of questions from the subjects of Mathematics, General Science, English and Hindi. The difficulty level of the test paper shall be of Class VIII.

The test will be of objective type with 2½ hours duration without any break.
