JNVST Second Phase Conducted Successfully Despite Pandemic

New Delhi: A total of 1,16,679 students attended the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) (winter bound) for JNV 2020 admissions, held successfully in 579 centres across the country by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) On Saturday, reported Hindustan Times.

In an official tweet, CBSE spoke of the success of the examination, and said that they hoped it would “add to the public confidence in the times of COVID-19.”

According to an official statement, CBSE defined JNVST as “non-verbal” and “class-neutral”, created in a way to ensure that children don’t face problems while competing for Class VI JNV admissions, irrespective of their background.
