To apply for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) admission, parents need:

  • A valid Indian mobile number and email address.
  • A digital photo of the child (JPEG, max 256KB).
  • A scanned birth certificate, proof of address, and caste certificate (JPEG/PDF).
  • Government certificate details for EWS applicants.
  • Transfer details of the parent or grandparent if using service credentials for the application.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Balvatika fees include a KV Vikas Nidhi (KVVN) fee of ₹500 per month. Generally, there are no tuition fees for pre-primary students, but additional charges may apply based on KVS policies. The total monthly fee is around ₹500, which adds up to ₹1,500 per quarter.

Some students are exempted from fees. Children admitted under the 25% RTE quota (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) do not need to pay fees if they provide the required certificates. While children of Central Government employees usually pay a minimum fee, some may get special exemptions. Additionally, the Single Girl Child scheme provides fee exemptions from Class 1 onwards, but it does not apply to Balvatika.
