HYDERABAD: Candidates who appeared for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET )-2024 can raise their objections to the provisional answer key until August 11.
The National Testing agency will close the window at 11:50 pm on August 11. The candidates can challenge the answer key by paying a non-refundable fee Rs. 200 for each question. They can also check and download the answer key, response sheet, and question paper at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
The objections will be reviewed, and the final solution key will be considered while preparing and the results, the NTA said. However, the candidates will not get updates regarding the status of their objections. The decision of the subject experts will be final, a notice issued by the NTA said.
CSIR UGC NET 2024 Answer Key: How to raise objection?
Step 1: Visit the official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Joint CSIR-UGC NET JULY-2024: Click here to Answer Key Challenge” link
Step 3: Key in login credentials including application number and date of birth
Step 4: Select the CSIR UGC NET answer key.
Step 5: Click “View Question Paper” to check the question paper and answers. Click on “Click to view/Challenge Answer Key” link to submit a challenge for the answer keys
Step 6: The order of the question IDs will be shown. The answer key that NTA uses is shown by the ID next to the question under “Correct Option(s)”.
Step 7: Click the checkboxes to choose the appropriate Option IDs from the columns if you would like to contest any response and attach a valid proof with it.
Step 8: Now, you can pay the fee and submit the form. Take a screenshot of the form for later use.
The CSIR UGC NET 2024 was conducted on July 25, 26, and 27. The NTA said that 2,25,335 students wrote the test in the Computer Based Test (CBT) method at 348 examination centres in 187 cities acriss India.
The NTA administered the CBT mode examination of the Joint CSIR UGC NET examination for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Lectureship (LS), Assistant Professor, and PhD programmes.
