HYDERABAD: The link for the mock tests of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is active at the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.

To access the mock tests, candidates are required to click on the name of the test paper or its code to open the mock test link in a new tab or window.

IIT Roorkee, which is conducting the GATE 2025, has activated the links for 38 subjects — Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Architecture and Planning, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Information Technology, Computer Science & Information Technology, Chemistry, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science & Engineering, Ecology and Evolution, Geomatics Engineering, Geology and Geophysics – Geology, Geology and Geophysics – Geophysics, Instrumentation Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Production and Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Textile Engineering and Fibre Science, Engineering Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences – Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences – English, Humanities and Social Sciences – Linguistics, Humanities and Social Sciences – Philosophy, Humanities and Social Sciences – Psychology, Humanities and Social Sciences – Sociology, Life Sciences.

GATE 2025 will be conducted in computer-based testing (CBT) mode in February 2025. The mock test links are provided to help the GATE 2025 candidates familiarise themselves with the feel of the GATE 2025 computer-based test.

The admit card for GATE 2025 is most likely to be released in January and the exam will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, of 2025.

GATE 2025 test papers

The GATE 2025 will comprise 30 test papers and candidates are permitted to take one or two papers.

It is necessary to select the two combinations of exam papers from the list provided. Only one application form has to be submitted in case a candidate intends to appear for two papers.

Question pattern

The GATE 2025 will have multiple choice (MCQ), multiple select (MSQ), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. In MCQ, only one of the four options is right. In MSQs, one or more of the four choices are valid while for NAT questions, the answer must be entered via a virtual keypad.
