LSAT-India 2020 To Be Conducted From June 14, Students Can Take Exam From Home
New Delhi: The US-based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has decided to conduct LSAT-India entrance examination online amid the COVID-19 pandemic this year. To ensure health and safety, the council has allowed the students to take the exam from home.
The entrance exam for the various law colleges in India is scheduled to begin on June 14. The last date for registration has been extended to May 22 and the candidates can apply at- discoverlaw.in/lsat-india.
The exam will be monitored using the AI-enabled remote-proctored solution, which will ensure security and keep a check on the unfair practices if followed by the students while taking the exams.
“In order to safeguard the ability of Indian students to apply to law schools in India, we have partnered with Pearson VUE (Virtual University Enterprises) to offer students a technologically advanced entrance exam this year. The test delivery system has technical features that ensure the transparency, convenience, and integrity of the testing process, without sacrificing security,” LSAC President, Kellye Testy was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
The duration of the exam will be 35 minutes having 92-100 questions based on analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, and reading comprehension.
There are over 50 law schools in India that accept LSAT scores.
