Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government has announced that the state has achieved 0% dropout in primary education, a landmark accomplishment in its education sector.
Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Chetanya Kasyap highlighted the achievement, noting: “In 2002-03, the dropout rate at the primary level was 15%; today, under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh has achieved the target of 0% dropout in primary education.”
The state’s education department shared the milestone on X (formerly Twitter), underscoring its commitment to universal schooling.
स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग ने एक बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल की है। 2002-03 में प्राथमिक स्तर पर 15% ड्रॉपआउट था, आज मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव जी के नेतृत्व में मध्यप्रदेश ने प्राथमिक शिक्षा में 0 प्रतिशत ड्रॉप आउट का लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया है।

Earlier, on 18 June, the chief minister had also stated that the dropout rate in primary schools had fallen to zero over the past three years.
According to a PTI report, Yadav further emphasised that Madhya Pradesh has been among the leading states in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, across both school and higher education sectors.
