Chennai: Karnataka’s Mangaluru resident Ruth Clare D’Silva topped the Chartered Accountancy (CA) final exams of the July 2021 session, the results of which were announced on Monday.
D’Silva attempted the old course exam of the CA and has been working hard for it since 2016.
“I am really proud of myself and extremely happy that my hard work has finally paid off. I have been working for this for the last five years,” D’Silva was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
“It feels great to see everyone around me happy. It’s a collective achievement. I want to thank my family for supporting me during my highs and lows,” she added.
According to D’Silva, her uncle is also a Chartered Accountant who helped her and stood by her throughout the entire journey.
Talking about her career plans, D’Silva said, “I am still considering my options. Definitely, I will be getting into some employment but I will take some time and choose my career,”
