New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced the Masters of Arts (Corporate Social Responsibility) course from the January 2022 academic session.
The registration process has kicked off and will close on January 31. Candidates willing to pursue the programme can apply online via the IGNOU Samarth’s official site — ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The programme is aimed at enhancing the holistic understanding of CSR by covering different aspects like CSR fundamentals, CSR process and its linkages with development, implementation and handling of projects and programmes, and corporate ethics, governance, and conflict resolution.
“MACSR is a very appropriate programme in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode both in terms of content and timing. It provides a unique opportunity for attaining and upgrading the knowledge of the CSR professionals,” Program Co-ordinators Dr Nisha Varghese and Prof PVK Sasidhar were quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
Graduate degree holders are eligible to apply for the 2-year course available for two sessions — January and July. A course fee of ₹14,400 will be charged out of which first-year and second-year fees are ₹7200 per year.
