New Delhi: The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education has announced “Turkish Scholarship for Undergraduate and Post graduate Programmes” for Indian students. The scholarship will be awarded by the Republic of Turkey for the year 2020. The last date to submit online applications for scholarship is February 20, 2020.
The scholarship programmes are available for full-time courses such as Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and PhD and short-term courses such as Success Scholarships, Research Scholarships, and KATIP Programs. For further details candidates can check the website: www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr/ .
Interested applicants will be able to submit the application only via Turkish Scholarship website: www.turkiyescholarships.gov.tr . Applications can be submitted in 8 languages.
Scholarship Value
The scholarship includes university and programme placement, monthly stipend, tuition fee, health insurance, accommodation and one-year Turkish Language course and once-off return flight ticket.
Eligibility
- Minimum academic achievement for Bachelor’s Degree Applicants – 70 percent
- Minimum academic achievement for Master’s and Doctor’s Degree Applicants – 75 per cent
- Minimum academic achievement for Health Science applicants – 90 per cent
Age Criteria
- For undergraduate programme – candidates must be under 21 years
- For Master’s programme – candidates must be under 30 years
- For the Doctorate programme – candidates must be under 45.

Applications can only be made individually through www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr by the candidates.
