Mumbai: A cybersecurity skilling programme has been launched by Microsoft to address the skills gap and empower the workforce of India for a career in cybersecurity.
The programme is aimed at assisting over 1 lakh learners by 2022. The course is equipped to give hands-on experience in the fundamentals of security, compliance and identity to the learners.
The software giant is set to conduct the programmes in association with its strategic consortium, including Cloudthat, Koenig, RPS and Synergetics Learning. The course modules have been prepared to support all learning levels.
Microsoft will provide the accredited certification for fundamentals at no cost for individuals attending the associated training via the course.
Also, Microsoft in collaboration with its partners offers learners discounts on the rest of the advanced role-based certifications to help develop deep skills to address the challenges of cybersecurity.
