NBA Cautions Medical Candidates Against Touts
The National Board of Examinations (NBE), which conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) and other postdoctoral examinations, has alerted the candidates against falling prey to unscrupulous agents making false and misleading claims.
In a notice, the board said it has come to its notice that some unscrupulous agents/touts are making false and bogus claims to the candidates and using spoofed emails and SMS in the name of NBE for phishing.
Candidates are, therefore, advised “not to be allured or be misled by unscrupulous agents making false and bogus claims of helping any candidate in any means by such spoofed emails/SMS or forged documents”.
NBE further said it does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks/merit position in any of the exams conducted by it.
The advice comes ahead of the NEET PG exam, scheduled to be conducted on January 5.
“In case candidates are approached by any unscrupulous agents promising any such undue favour through any spoofed emails/SMS or telephone call or forged documents or personally the same may be reported to NBE through email [email protected] or to the local police for further investigation,” the notice underlined.
The official website of NBE is www.natboard.edu.in and www.nbe.edu.in Candidates are advised to refer for any information about NBE and examinations conducted by NBE only through these websites links.
