New Delhi: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has invited online applications for filling up 266 academic positions.
The eligible candidates will be directly recruited through interviews for NCERT’s constituent units in New Delhi, Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore and Shillong, according to a notification.

Assistant Librarian (2)
Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the posts through NCERT’s official website at www.ncert.nic.in on or before August 3, 2020.
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor
PhD in the relevant field
(ii) Librarian
A Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
At least 10 years of experience as librarian at any level in a University or 10 years of teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or 10 years of experience as a college librarian
(iii) Assistant Librarian
A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks.
A consistently good academic record with knowledge of digitalisation of library and NET in the subject concerned.
