NEET-PG 2021: NBE Announces Qualification Criteria
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the criteria the students need to achieve to qualify the entrance exam. The NEET-PG 2021 will be held on Saturday, September 11 at various centres across the country.
General category students will need to secure the 50th percentile and students from reserved categories will have to secure the 40th percentile.
As many as 1,75, 063 candidates have applied for the NEET-PG this year and the number of exam centres has been hiked by the board in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
NEET-PG 2021 exam will be held at around 800 centres in 260 cities spread across the country.
A total of 55 per cent of candidates qualified the examination in NEET-PG 2020 result. In 2020, 1,67,102 candidates had registered for NEET-PG 2020 and 1,60,888 had appeared. A total of 89,549 had qualified.
Candidates taking the NEET-PG 2021 on Saturday have been asked to follow all the COVID-19 protocols set by NBE.
NBE will provide the students with a protective face shield, face mask and sanitiser sachets individually at test centres. However, students can also bring in their personal sanitisers in transparent bottles with face masks and gloves.
