How to Register for NEET PG 2024 Counselling

Shortlisted candidates must report to their designated institute by March 20 for document verification. MCC has reduced the NEET PG 2024 cut-off to the 5th percentile to prevent seat vacancies. This decision follows directives from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

As per the official statement, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, directed the reduction of the minimum qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2024 on February 20, 2025, in continuation of the NBEMS notice dated January 6, 2025.

Earlier in the year, the MCC had already lowered the cut-off for all categories. General and EWS category students scoring in the 15th percentile and above were allowed to participate in the counselling. The revised cut-off announced in January required SC, ST, OBC, and PwD category students to score at least 10 percentile to be eligible.

Previously, the NEET PG cut-off percentile was set at 50th for unreserved categories, 45th for PwD candidates, and 40th for reserved category students.
