NEET UG Among Top Searched Key Words In 2019: Google
New Delhi: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Under Graduate (NEET UG) was one of the most searched keywords in 2019, a Google study has said.
The global search engine said since the registration process for the exam, admit cards and answer keys are conducted and released online, the NEET keyword registered record traffic in the run up to the exams this year.
NEET UG is conducted in May every year for admission to MBBS programmes across the country. This year 15,19,375 candidates had registered for the exams and 14,10,754 candidates appeared for the exams. In 2020, many more candidates are likely to register for the exams as admissions to AIIMs and JIPMER will also be conducted through NEET UG.
“How to check NEET result” was among the top 5 searched keywords in Google this year thus showing how big the medical entrance exam of the country is,” news agency PTI said quoting the Google study.
At global level, “Indian election results” was one of the top most searched keywords this year.
