New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) along with the Centre for Creative Learning (CCL) has launched an online interactive education series ‘3030 Eklavya’ at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar.
The first episode of ‘3030 Eklavya’, which was aired on Sunday, September 26, was on Olympic Gold medallist Neeraj Chopra and Newton’s laws of motion.
The weekly series will be an interactive online educational programme with hands-on activities, projects and models that help in conceptual understanding of various topics, thought-provoking questions, assignments that promote out-of-box creative thinking and inspiring DIY (do-it-yourself) project videos using local material that relate to the curriculum to life.
The aim of the series is the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in schools. It seeks to nurture creativity, out-of-box thinking, conceptual understanding, interdisciplinary education, problem-solving skills, and learning how to learn among school students.
“The content will be of varying levels and will cover topics in the science and maths curriculum of Classes VI to XII. Therefore, students from these grades should avail this opportunity to register and participate for conceptual clarity and joyful learning. This will not only help in the exams, but also equip students to develop scientific temper, better navigate their lives, and make informed decisions,” Co-founder of CCL, IIT Gandhinagar, Gaurav Kumar Yadav was quoted as saying by ABP Education.
The registration process, which is compulsory and free, kicked off on September 10.
