New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday under the Shikshak Parv initiative spoke with volunteers and coordinators to create awareness about the newly approved National Education Policy, NEP 2020.
“Had a wonderful interaction with the National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (NSS), Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) Volunteers and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan coordinators under Shikshak Parv Initiative during the National Webinar on Creating Awareness about National Education Policy today,” said Rajnath Singh via a tweet.

“The New Education Policy is the first policy in Indian history, in which a multi-pronged and multi-stakeholder consultative process was undertaken which included online, grassroots and national level deliberations,” he said in a subsequent tweet.
Adding further, the defence minister said that the policy suggests many revolutionary changes in school and higher education for the holistic development of the students.

Previously, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also said that the goal of NEP is to remove pressure from the mark sheets of the students.
