NIFT Reduces Entrance Test Application Fee For 2026–27 Admissions
Interested candidates can fill in the application form before the deadline of January 6, 2026.
NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has reduced the application fees for its 2026-27 entrance exams.
This is being done to make the process more affordable and accessible for the fashion design students.
The application fee for the Open, OBC-NCL and Open-EWS categories has been reduced from Rs 3000 to Rs 2000. The application fee for SC, ST and PwD candidates has been reduced from Rs 1500 to Rs 500.
Interested candidates can fill in the application form before the deadline of January 6, 2026.
The NIFT entrance test is scheduled to take place on February 8, 2026 in over 100 cities nationwide, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The fee reduction will help the students to have broader participation in the competitive fashion and design admission process.
