NIOS Announces Revised Exam Schedule For Classes 10 & 12

NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced a revised schedule for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations that were earlier postponed in November.

The revised timetable applies to selected papers in Bihar, Nuapada Assembly constituency of Odisha, and all centres across the country. In Bihar, the rescheduled exams will be held on November 29, 2025.

On November 29, class 12 students will appear for Biology, Accountancy, Introduction to Law, and Military History from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, while Class 10 students will write Urdu, Sanskrit, and Bodh Darshan papers during the same time slot, an official notification said.

Additionally, the Class 10 Indian Sign Language exam will be conducted from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. These papers were originally scheduled for November 6, but were postponed due to the Bihar assembly elections and related administrative reasons.

The affected subjects included Physics, History, Environmental Science, and Library & Information Science for Class 12, along with Painting for Class 10.

For Bihar and the Nuapada Assembly constituency of Odisha, examinations will be held on December 1, 2025.

On this date, Class 12 students will take Mathematics and Veda Adhyayan, while Class 10 students will appear for English, all scheduled from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
