New Delhi: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the evaluation criteria for the NIOS Board Exams 2021. The NIOS has released the assessment criteria on its official site nios.ac.in for Class X and XII.
The marks tabulation of the Secondary and Senior Secondary public exam June 2021 is based on past performance and tutor-marked assignments.
According to the evaluation criteria, the average of the best three subject performances will be considered for learners already passed in 4 or more subjects. For learners having already cleared 2 or 3 subjects, the average of the best two subjects will be taken into account.
However, for learners having passed in only 1 subject in the same course and either TMA not available or applicable, the average performance of the last three public examinations will be in consideration.
For first-timers with no past performance, the result for Senior Secondary students will be calculated by adopting a formula on the basis of the mean of maximum theory marks and minimum pass marks in theory exams multiplied by the TMA ratio. The result will be calculated by adopting a formula based on the mean of maximum marks and minimum pass marks in the subject multiplied by the TMA ratio for Secondary students.
