Rourkela: The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela has been ranked 26th in the overall category among the Indian universities by the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2021.
In the overall list of Asian universities, NIT Rourkela has been in the bracket of 201-250 Rank. NIT Rourkela has been ranked 12th in India in general engineering category.
The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2021 are drawn out by judging the universities across all core areas — teaching, research, citations, knowledge transfers and international outlook.
According to the ranking, NIT Rourkela is in number one position in overall category among all the listed NITs In India. It also topped the list in Teaching and Ranking category.
