Bhubaneswar: The UGC-NET Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been postponed with a cyclonic storm brewing in the Bay of Bengal and is expected to make landfall near Puri on Saturday evening or Sunday morning. The exam was scheduled for December 3 and 4.
“Considering the cyclone situation in Odisha and Andhra, we are postponing the UGC-NET Examination scheduled to be on December 3 and 4, 2021. This is applicable to candidates appearing in the examination in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh,” the NTA release said on Friday
However, the schedule in other states remains unchanged.
The examination is scheduled to be held for Education, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Russian, Electronic Science and Social Medicine and Community Health on December 3 and Assamese and Bodo on December 4, 2021.
