NTA Reschedules JEE Main 2025 For One Exam Centre, Check The Details

Due to unavoidable reason of technical snag at exam centre, eTalent, in Bengaluru, the exam is rescheduled for January 28 and 29, says NTA

HYDERABAD: The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducted the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) on January 22, has revised the schedule for one examination centre in Bengaluru due to what it called “an unavoidable reason of technical snag.”

The revision in the examination date will impact more than 100 candidates. These candidates will be issued new admit cards and the exams will be conducted on January 28 and 29, the NTA said.

“Due to unavoidable reason of technical snag in Examination Centre eTalent, (TC code- 40086), No.3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Amaravathi Layout, Nagara Bavi, Nalagadderanahalli, Peenya Bengaluru, Karnataka, during conduct of JEE (Main)-2025 Session-I (Shift-I) Examination on 22 January 2025, the examination for 114 affected candidates are rescheduled and will be conducted on 28/29 January 2025,” said a notification issued by the NTA

On January 21, the NTA revised an exam centre in UAE, citing unavoidable circumstances.

JEE Main 2025 is being held across the country in multiple centres and 15 cities outside India and will continue till January 30.

The JEE Main 2025 is being held in two phases this year—the first in January and another in April.

The exam duration for paper 1 (BE/ BTech), paper 2A (BArch) or paper 2B (BPlanning) is three hours.

The JEE Main paper 1 will be held in two shifts – morning and afternoon.

The morning session will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon while the afternoon shift will be conducted between 3 pm and 6 pm.

For paper 2 (BArch and BPlanning), the exam will be held in three hours and 30 minutes. The JEE Main paper 2 exam will be held in the second shift on January 30 alone, from 3 pm.
