Initially set to conclude on July 16, the deadline has now been extended till July 19.

BHUBANESWAR: The Higher Education Department, Odisha, has extended the spot admission deadline for undergraduate (UG) courses in government-run colleges across the State under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS).

Initially set to conclude on July 16, the deadline has now been extended till July 19.

All higher education institutions offering UG courses through SAMS have been directed to follow the updated timeline and ensure a seamless admission process for students.

Earlier, the Odisha government decided to allow students to re-edit their Common Application Form (CAF) and revised guidelines in this regard were issued by the Higher Education Department.

The re-editing facility would be available after the completion of the 3rd round admission process, and updated choices will be considered during the 4th (Waiting List/Spot) round selection process, the officials said.

Applicants who already submitted their application under Phase-I could edit their CAF using their existing username and password without paying the CAF fee again.
