Odisha Police SI Recruitment Exam On March 8, 9

Candidates can download admit cards from website https://odishapolice.gov.in from March 1 onwards using their user credentials

BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) will conduct the written examination for the recruitment of sub-inspectors and equivalent posts on March 8 and 9 in different districts.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 933 Sub-inspector and equivalent vacancies. The vacancies include 609 ‘Sub-Inspector of Police’ post, 253 ‘Sub-Inspector of Police (Armed)’, 47 ‘Station Officer (Fire Service)’, and 24 ‘Assistant Jailor’ posts under the Home Department, Government of Odisha.

“Pursuant to Advertisement No. 02/OPRB, dated. 17.01.2025, it is for information for all concerned that the OMR Based Recruitment Examination for the post of SI and equivalent ranks – 2024 will be held on 08.03.2025 and 09.03.2025 in different districts of Odisha,” said a notification issued by the OPRB on February 25.

The registration-cum-application process began on January 20 and concluded on February 10. Eligible candidates can apply at odishapolice.gov.in.

“The candidates are advised to download their admit cards to know the details about examination centre and schedule of examination from Odisha Police Website (https://odishapolice.gov.in) from March 1 onwards using their user credentials,” the notification added.

Instructions for candidates

Candidate need to bring admit cards and photo ID card (Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhaar Printout) in original and its photocopy to examination hall

On the copy of identity proof, candidates should write roll number on the top and put full signature and date at the bottom

Candidates who do not carry photo-copy of identity card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Calculators, phones, pagers, pen-drive or any other electronic equipment or device or any other equipment capable of being used as a communication device are not allowed

No scribe shall be allowed to mark answers

Candidates need to occupy seats in examination hall at least 30 minutes prior to commencement of the examination

In case of damaged, misprinted OMR Answer sheet or incorrect filling of roll number, Question Booklet Set code etc, please return it to invigilator and claim a buffer OMR answer sheet.

No candidate shall be permitted to leave the examination hall/room till the expiry of the full time allotted for the paper
