Bhubaneswar: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha, announced the provisional selection lists of candidates for the recruitment of contractual trained graduate and Telugu teachers.
The provisional lists of Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts), Trained Graduate Teacher Science (PCM), Trained Graduate Teacher Science (CBZ) and Telugu Teacher have been uploaded on the official website, dseodisha.in after the approval of the State Selection Committee.
“The Select lists have been prepared out of the common merit lists on the basis of performance in the computer-based test (CBT), number of vacancies available for each reservation category and principles of reservation applicable for candidates of ST/ SC/ SEBC/ Women/ PWD/ ESM/ sportsmen categories,” said the DSE.
According to the directorate’s clarification, the lists are purely provisional and inclusion of a candidate in the provisional merit list or select list will not entitle a candidate to engagement as a contract teacher.
“From the provisional select lists, the District Education Officers shall issue engagement orders only to those who are found eligible. Eligibility will be determined on the basis of original documents/certificates which are to be verified by the DEO before the district level counselling, agreement and engagement,” read the notice.
An online choice filling is being held for the allocation of districts to the candidates included in the provisional select lists between December 4 and December 6.
“Candidates are to upload their district preference in the link named ‘Upload District Preference’ available in website https://dseodisha.in/. Candidates not uploading their district choice within the stipulated date and time shall be placed to districts randomly as per vacancies available,” said the recruiting authority.
The DSE, Odisha, will fill up 6720 posts of Trained Graduate and Telugu Teachers via the recruitment drive.
