Odisha’s Jatadhari Mishra Awarded PhD by Stanford Varsity
Bhubaneswar: Jatadhari Mishra, a resident of Odisha’s Kendrapada district has been conferred with the PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford, California, United States.
Mishra’s special paper was on Nonlinear Optics; photonic simulation; nanofabrication; PIC characterisation; optical metrology; fibre optics; mid-infrared optics; quantum sources; dispersion engineering; ferroelectric poling; thin-film lithium niobate.
Jatadhari, son of Priti Ranjan Mishra and Aparna Mishra of Danpur village near Chandol in Kendrapara district, has now joined as Photonics Engineer at Pacific Biosciences at Mountain View, California, United States.
Grandson of retired school teacher Baishnab Charan Mishra, Jatadhari joined Stanford after completing his BS-MS Dual Degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER), Kolkata in 2016.
