Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will recruit 1,871 medical officers (assistant surgeons) in group D (junior branch) for the state’s medical and health services cadre under the department of health and family welfare.
The recruitment process will begin with the registration on November 12. The deadline for application form submission will be December 13.
MBBS candidates from 21-32 years as on January 1, 2021, are eligible to apply.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on a written test of 200 marks multiple-choice questions. The syllabus of the exam will be according to the MCI syllabus for the MBBS course.
Following the screening through the exam, the Commission will prepare a list of candidates in order of merit according to the number of advertised vacancies.
The written exam will either be held at Cuttack or Bhubaneswar.
