Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the preliminary examination dates for the Odisha Civil Services Examination (OCS) 2019 on its official website: www.opsc.gov.in . According to the official notification, the preliminary exam of OCS will be held on March 15, 2020 in two sessions.
The OCS prelim exam will be conducted at five zones- Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.
The OPSC has advised the candidates to visit the website from time to time to download the admission certificate and instructions to candidates for the OCS prelim exam.
The OSC exam 2019 is being conducted to fill 153 Group A and Group B vacancies. The Group A vacancies are for Odisha Administrative Service (OAS), Odisha Police Service (OPS) and Odisha Financial Service (OFS).
The Group B vacancies are for Odisha Co-operative Service, Odisha Revenue Service and Odisha Taxation & Accounts Service.
OPSC aspirants must go through three rounds of the selection process before the final appointment – prelim exam, main exam and interview/personality test round.
