London: The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027 have been released, with the University of Oxford securing the top position globally for the 11th consecutive year. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) follows in second place, while Princeton University and Stanford University share third.
The University of Cambridge is fifth, Harvard sixth, California Institute of Technology seventh and Imperial College London eighth. The University of California, Berkeley and Yale University share ninth place.

Indian Universities In THE Rankings
India’s representation in the rankings is led by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, which has been placed at 254th globally, making it the highest-ranked Indian institution this year.
