Rajasthan 12th Board Exam Cancelled As Business Studies Paper Of Last Year Repeats
The new dates for the examination will be announced soon, say officials, adding that it would take time to get a new question paper sent to all the exam centres
HYDERABAD: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has cancelled the business studies paper of Class 12 exam after the question paper was found to be the same as that of last year.
Around 30,000 students from the Commerce stream appeared for the test which was conducted on March 23.
The cancellation came after the board received complaints poured in about the paper on its helpline number, board officials said.
An investigation has been ordered and the education department plans to take action against the teacher who set the paper.
“We get four to five sets of question papers ready and then choose anyone amongst them. A teacher did not put in the effort and sent last year’s question paper to the exam. We will take disciplinary action against the teacher who made this deliberate error,” media reports quoted RBSE secretary Kailash Chand Sharma as saying.
The new dates for the examination will be announced soon, Sharma said, adding that it would take time to get a new question paper sent to all the exam centres.
According to sources, the RBSE is planning to conduct the exam before April 9, 2025 — the last date of the board exam.
