The Collectorate of Rayada, Odisha, has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up 60 vacant posts of Sikhya Sahayaks in different schools functioning under ST & SC Development Department in Rayagada District.
The Applications should reach the Collectorate, Welfare Section (O/o the District Welfare Officer), Rayagada, on or before November 30, 2019 by 5.30 pm through Registered Post/Speed Post only.

- B.Ed – 23 posts
- BA B.Ed (TGT language) – 13 posts
- BA B.Ed (TGT Soc.Sci) – 10 posts
- +2 Science CT – 04 posts
- +2 Arts/Com CT – 10 posts
Educational Qualification & Eligibility
- For +2 Arts/Commerce with CT and +2 Science with CT
- Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (CT)
Or
- Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Or
- Graduation or 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education/ 2 years Diploma in Special Education.
And
- The candidates must have passed OTET Category -I (Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test, Category -I)
- The Candidates must have Odia as MIL up to Class-X or must have passed in Odia language test equivalent to Matric standard conducted by BSE (O)
- For the post of BA B.Ed & BSc B. Ed
- Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
- Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and one year B. Ed (Special Education)
- Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and 4 years BA B.Ed/BSc B.Ed
- The candidates must have passed OTET, Category -II (Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test, Category -II)
- The Candidates must have Odia as MIL up to Class-X or must have passed in Odia language test equivalent to Matric standard conducted by BSE (O)
Selection Process
The selection for the advertised posts will be made only on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates.

Age
The candidates shall not be below 18 years and above 35 years as on October 31, 2019. In case of ST/SC , women, Ex-Servicemen and SEBC candidates, the upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years and in case of Physically Handicapped candidates, up to 10 years.
