HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has commenced the registration process for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG ECET) 2025.
Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, ecet.tgche.ac.in.
The last date for submission of application is April 19. However, candidates can submit their applications with a late fee of Rs 500 by April 26 and with Rs 1000 by May 2.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education will conduct the TG ECET 2025 on May 12 for a duration of three hours from 9 am to noon, said a notification issued by the TGCHE.

The exam is held every year for lateral entry admission into second-year regular B.E., B.Tech. courses in universities and un-aided private professional institutions approved by the AICTE.
Through TG ECET, students can also get lateral entry admission into second-year regular B. Pharm. programmes. However, the B.Sc. (Mathematics) degree candidates are not eligible for admission into B.Pharmacy programme.
How to register for TG ECET 2025?
Step 1: Visit the official website, ecet.tgche.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link titled ‘Application fee payment’ on the portal’s homepage.
Step 3: Upon clicking, a new window will appear where candidates have to pay the fee
Step 4: Login and fill out the application form with the required academic and personal details.

Application fees
The registration fee is Rs 500 for SC, ST, and PH candidates. It is Rs 900 for all other categories.
