Registration Deadline For IPU CET 2025 Extended Till April 11, Check The Details

HYDERABAD: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has extended the deadline for submission of the IPU Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025 application forms to April 11.

Candidates seeking admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes can apply through the official website, ipu.ac.in.

“It is to inform all the stakeholders that the last date for filling/submission of Online Registration Form in respect of courses where the admission is on the basis of merit of Common Entrance Test (Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.d.) to be conducted by the University, for the Academic Session 2025-26, has been extended upto 11.04.2025 (11.59 PM),” reads a notification issued by the university.

The IPU CET 2025 will be conducted from April 26 to May 18 in a hybrid format.

The entrance exam is conducted for admission to UG and PG courses, including 46 master’s degree programmes, 40 PhD programs, and 34 undergraduate degree programme being offered by the university.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates applying for undergraduate courses need to have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their Class 12 board examinations. For the postgraduate programmes, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

How to apply for IPU CET 2025

Step 1: Visit the official IPU CET website,  ipu.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Online’ on the homepage.

Step 3: Register by entering basic details.

Step 4: Fill the application form with necessary information, including academic qualifications, personal details, and contact information.

Step 5: Upload the required documents such as signature and photograph.

Step 6: Pay the application fee

Step 7: Review all the details entered in the form and submit it.

Step 8: Download and take a printout of the application form for reference.

IPU CET 2025 exam pattern

The IPU CET 2025 exam will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The total marks for the exam will be 400.

Candidates who qualify for the IPU CET 2025 need to participate in the counselling process for admission. The counselling sessions will be conducted in both online and offline modes.
