HYDERABAD: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule of the third round of NEET PG Counselling 2024 again.
As per the new schedule, the last date to register for third round of counselling has been extended to January 19, 2025. Earlier, the last date to apply was January 15.
Now, the choice-filling process will conclude on January 20 and the seat allotment result will be declared on January 21.
To fill the seats of postgraduate courses in medical colleges, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reduced the cutoff by 15th percentile for the general category and 10th percentile for SC, ST, and PWD category candidates.
Eligible candidates who are yet to apply can do so by January 19. Those who make it to the merit list will have to report to the assigned colleges between January 21 and 29 for the document verification process.
The data verification by institutes will be done between January 30 and 31.
How to apply for NEET PG Counselling 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official website, mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the registration tab and choose PG medical
Step 3: Now, select the course and enter the NEET PG 2024 roll number and email ID
Step 4: Fill the application form and pay the registration fee
Step 5: Submit the application
Step 6: Download the confirmation page and take a printout for reference.
Documents needed for NEET PG Counselling 2024
- Allotment Letter issued by MCC
- Admit Card issued by NBE.
- Result/Rank Letter issued by NBE.
- Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd Professional Examinations.
- MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate.
Online Stray Vacancy Round Schedule
The NEET PG counselling is being conducted for 50% of All India Quota seats and 100% deemed, central universities, AFMS, PG DNB seats.
The MCC has issued the revised stray vacancy round counselling schedule. After the revised seat matrix is released on February 4, the registration process will take place from February 5 to 7 and the choice filling process will complete on February 9.
The seat allotment result will be declared on February 11 and selected candidates will have to report to the colleges between February 12 to 22.
Counselling halts till 5 pm on January 17
Meanwhile, the MCC has issued an urgent notification, informing the candidates that due to technical maintenance the registration and choice filling process for Round 3 of PG Counselling 2024 has been halted till 05 p.m. on January 17.
The counselling process will resume thereafter. Candidates are advised to stay in touch with the website www.mcc.nic.in for updates.
