Registration Deadline For UGC NET June 2025 Extended; Check The Details

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline to register for the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025 cycle.

Candidates now can register for the UGC NET on the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in until May 12. The UGA, in a notification, said that the decision was taken after it received many representations to extend the date for registration.

The deadline for paying the UGC NET application fee has also been moved to May 13, and the application correction window will be open from May 14 to May 15.

Revised key dates for UGC NET June 2025

• The last date to apply is May 12.
• The deadline for fee payment is May 13.
• Correction window will remain open between May 14 and 15.
• Exams will be held between June 21 and June 30

Application Fees

• General: Rs 1,150
• General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs 600
• SC/ST/PwD/Third gender: Rs 325

Documents needed

To complete the application process, candidates need to keep a government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID), scanned passport-size photograph and signature, educational qualification certificates, category or EWS certificate (if applicable), Pwd certificate (if applicable), a valid email ID and mobile number, address details with pin code,  choice of four exam cities and subject code for the relevant paper.
